pre nursery school

Future International Nursery (FIN) aims to be at the forefront of nursery education in the UAE by playing an active role in instilling the solid foundations necessary to take on tomorrow’s challenges whilst placing an emphasis on affirming each child as a member of the UAE community. Through discovering their ‘roots’, children can gain the understanding and confidence to develop ‘wings’ that allow them to actively participate in shaping the future.

"There are only two lasting bequests we can give our children. One is roots, the other wings." - Hoddling Carter

Why FUTURE INTL is the right place for your child:

Health & Safety first:

From the padding of the walls to the daily temperature checks and the sanitisation throughout the day, you can be assured that we take the safety of your child very seriously.

Highly qualified teachers:

We select our teachers very carefully: only the best will do. Our teachers are not only highly experienced early years specialists, they also have a passion for children and value the ongoing professional development provided by the nursery. They feel they constantly help children develop new skills while they themselves have the satisfaction of growing. Even our support staff are undergoing rigorous training organised from the UK.

An exciting programme of activities:

At FIN, children interact with the local environment in a variety of ways. Our children have monthly outings to exciting places such as Little Explorers, Al Tamimi stables, Discovery Centre, Sharjah beach, the Desert Park, Sharjah aquarium, the Dolphinarium, etc. Children also prepare their cooking activities from a to z: they prepare their shopping list, go to the supermarket to buy their own ingredients and then become little chefs!

FIN children love their regular outings to the park: the activities planned outdoor help the children enhance their knowledge and understanding of the world.

Regular special days are also organised throughout the year to enrich our curriculum: our Hajj Celebration, Colour Days, Transport Day, Mothers Day, Fruit and Vegetable Market Day, Toy Day, Jungle Day, Treasure Hunt Day, Earth Day, People Who Help Us Day, ensure children always have something special to look forward to.

A unique curriculum:

Our curriculum is constantly reviewed and improved under the supervision of our highly qualified curriculum consultant. Each area of learning – Personal Social and Emotional Development, Communication Language and Literacy, Mathematical Development, Knowledge and Understanding of the World, Creative Development and Physical Development – is carefully monitored.

We can truly claim to be a bilingual nursery. (Read more) Children not only have separate English and Arabic activity centres during the day, but they also have a daily circle time with both the English and Arabic teachers together. Stories are read in English and Arabic at the same time, enabling children to make huge progress in both languages. We use only Fus’ha Arabic in our setting.

With our unique maths programme based on the latest research in early acquisition of maths concepts, children not only learn about the two different meanings of numbers, but they also acquire early skills in calculation and are encouraged to develop mental strategies right from the start.

Homemade fresh food only:

All our food is prepared freshly on site on a daily basis and our menu is checked by a nutritionist. Children have fruit and vegetables twice a day and enjoy our fresh sandwiches made only with the highest standards of ingredients.

A balance between outdoor and indoor activities:

In order to develop fine motor skills, children need to have ample opportunities to develop their core muscles and their bilateral coordination. At FIN, the outdoor and indoor space has been carefully planned to help children develop in a harmonious way.
